I read recently;
Want to Play? and Live Bait by P.J Tracy and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
All are brilliant. I don't know what to start next.

1,883 in 1,316 postsI like 1984, but mostly as something to reference and talk about. Reading it itself is quite boring. The first third is explanation, the second third is sex, and the final third is Hostel.
That being said, I am very glad that I am familiar with it, but mainly for its impact and ideas rather than actual storytelling.

512 in 371 postsI finished Blue Nowhere a few days ago. It was alright, the big twist at the end wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but still a decent read.
I'm now reading Labyrinth by Kate Mosse, it's a number one best seller and seemed pretty interesting, however, it's written in the present tense and I can't stand books that do that!

Fantastic story and characters. I figured out the murder/crime/disappearance at about the halfway point. I hate that people have seen the movie and said, oh its okay didn't know it came from a book. So, I read the book. I am less into film nowadays then I used to be. The movie industry needs a kick in the pants. Books rule.
Also started on the next book in the trilogy.

512 in 371 postsI've been meaning to pick those books up. I don't usually go for books when there's been such a huge film for it, but that's my fault for not reading the books sooner. Either way it seems like a good set of books.
