Thread: Coming to a Theater Near You

Many people have asked the origin of my name, so here it is.

Well back in 1992 a game came out for SNES in America that would come to be the greatest video game title ever. That game was called Earthbound. In the game their was not only a great story and battle system but the first apperance of a little cactus enemy named Cactrot. Now cactrot did only two things in the game. He preformed a spell that the character Strago could learn through Lore called Blowfish and the cactrot could also lift weights. He gave you 10 Magic points and 10,000 gil at the end of battle and could only be fought on the desert terrain.

There you go, the origin of my name.

What the hell? Earthbound and Final Fantasy....dude you totally lost me on that one. We all know where your name comes from. It's the name of a Dream Theater song that is part of the 42 minute masterpiece Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. Well Final Fantasy owned Earthbound. I mean Ness was no match for characters like Terra or Cloud.

Dude, Cloud was a pussy who was always confused and in denial. Ness never bitched about what he had to do. Cloud was always like, "Why me, why me?" Ness was like "Bam sucka." Earthbound is also just more creative. Name another game where you can fight a giant ant, a pile of barf, a cup of coffee, a dinosaur, your evil side, an exploding tree, and a giant cult filled with blue robed maniacs that paint things? Final Fantasy is great, but Earthbound could kick it's ass without even thinking twice about it.

Final Fantasy had character growth. Not to mention killer story and battle system. The customization and strategy in all final fantasies is great. That is why it is the best RPG series of all time. Dammit!!! Now I want to get into a nice video game talk. No more argument here Crash. Let's take it to the Game section. Oh and I never welcomed you...because I hate you 8) .
