i've loved jean baudin's playing for a while now

Drum solos bore the total piss out of me. It's like guitar wankering.

I agree for the most part drums solos are a waste of time (minus the jazz ones). But I don't know how you can listen to Nile and not get bored that type of drumming puts me to sleep as well very un musical. These type of things are only for the awe factor.

This is a great drum solo

I enjoyed that. I don't mind drum solos as long as they seem a little bit thought out like that one.

Neil Peart has always had great solos.

Cool videos Blaise. The bass one reminds me of seeing Levin play a chapman stick.
