    Nightmare Fuel

    Nightmares are metal. We have a deep sea thread but now we have this, more general paranormal/fear inducing thread. Expect weird things. Gimme your best, starting off pretty lame but expecting some evil shit from others.

    Also brooding strangeness>jumping scares. But if you need to put those lame gifs of Samara or Exorcist bursting from a still image or whatever you can. Gore is not the idea.

    That painting and the claymation bit are my favorite things here! I love creepy/odd clamation stuff like that! That series dane posted is pretty cool too.

    You can also Buy A region free DVD of the whole marble hornets thing. Seems kind of pointless if its all on youtube though.

    When I spend time on /x/ there are lots of role-play threads. I always think "oh yeah, this will be some fun" but I often end up really scared by the end of it ;_;

    I wonder why suspending belief in reality to feel scared is enjoyable.

    Silent Hill 4. Haven't played it but I've seen it. It is unnerving how the eyes track you, and out of place in the game which is maybe part of what makes it work.

    Still haven't played that one either. Its the only other one I still want to play (would check out 1, but saw vids and the graphics make it much harder and it looks more frustrating than anything. Plus IMO only 1-4 and 5 are cannon, none of that Shattered memories or similar crap, except maybe origins, but I don't have a psp). Those games are so fucking scary I don't think a random head would make much of a difference.
